Born in the Netherlands in 1974. Graduated from the Academy of Arts, Tilburg, the Netherlands. Obtained an M.A in Sculpture from the Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, and an M.F.A in Art Studio from the University of California, Davis. Represented by the Hosfelt Gallery in San Francisco and New York and by the Christian Lethert Gallery in Cologne Germany. Exhibitions include Krijger & Katwijk, Amsterdam (the Netherlands), the Ludwig Museum Koblenz, Gallery Lausberg, Dusseldorf (Germany), and Lukas Feichtner, Vienna (Austria). Awarded residencies include the MacDowell Colony, NH, and the Ucross Foundation, WY. Published in PERSONAL STRUCTURES, 2003 and PERSONAL STRUCTURES: Time – Space – Existence 2009. Publication in SCULPTURE Magazine July/Aug. 2006. Awarded twice the Basisstipendium Art Grant Award in the Netherlands. Assistant Professor in Sculpture, and Chair of Sculpture at Montana State University, Bozeman.
